Aaron brings almost 25 years of experience across corporate governance, financial services, property, and law. He has held senior executive roles in New Zealand and Australia and, in these capacities, has raised several billion dollars in equity and debt capital, undertaken multiple M&A transactions and led a range of functions including legal, compliance, investor relations, HR & strategy.
He began his career in law, working in leading firms and in-house roles across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. In 2009, Aaron moved into executive leadership first as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of ASX-listed Growthpoint Properties Australia and, more recently, as Chief Executive of NZX-listed Vital Healthcare Property Trust.
He has served on several boards and is currently a Trustee of Dilworth Trust and a Board Member of New Zealand's External Reporting Board. He was previously a director Auckland Council CCO Eke Panuku and Mercy Hospice in Auckland (among other roles).
Aaron is focused on building client-centric professional cultures and long-term client relationships. His experience across the full investment cycle as well as his extensive dealings with investors, financiers and customers, help him understand what matters most to the firms' clients.
